"Mary is a twin sister with May who are off of Mabel and Torfall, giving them a potent BFL crossing. Mabel was an original ewe in our Crocus Flock, she was a Gotland x BFL with a black face and silvery-gray fibre. Mabel almost always gave us ram lambs up until one year where she finally gave us these two! But these daughters of hers have maintained a darker fibre in comparison to their mom but seem to have followed the boy mom theme as they each had a ram lamb in 2023. We no longer have Mabel in our flock but hope that her daughters carry on this beloved line for generations to come as our flock grows." - Sierra, the Crocus Contry Shepherdess

B) What is Pin Drafted roving? Roving that has been put through an additional preparation step to make the fibres in the roving more aligned than they currently are in the roving. Pin drafting is an in between step, between roving, where the fibres are going in multiple directions, and top, where the fibers are parallel and flowing in one direction.
C) This fibre was fully processed at Wellington Fibre mill in Ontario, Canada.
