Baby Alpaca, Linen, Tussah Silk

51% Baby Alpaca 25% Linen 24% Tussah Silk
400 m/437yds 100 gram

A plump and lustrous yarn with beautiful drape. Baby alpaca for softness, tussah silk for sheen and linen for texture to produce a rustic yet luxurious yarn. The linen softens after dyeing and takes up the dye differently to the alpaca and silk to produce a subtle marled effect. The pale honey colour of the tussah silk and the unbleached linen add a delicate natural biscuit colour to the yarn producing a wonderful depth of colour when overdyed.

The addition of linen gives this yarn great memory so it is ideal for lacework. Use for unstructured garments, throws, shawls and other lightweight accessories.
